3rd Week!

Alice continues to be a wonderful baby. She is generally quite happy and sleeps well in her crib at night (she wakes up for 3 hr feedings, but goes back down in her crib without crying, allowing mommy to get decent sleep).

This week I took it easy and spent lots of time relaxing. Last week I tried to get out and about and pushed myself a bit to hard, causing myslef to feel sore and tired. Apparently it takes awhile for ones body to recover from having a baby? It paid off and by the weekend I was feeling much better.

Here's a few pictures from this week.

She won't fit this way for long!

Her yawn's are SO precious.

My brother came to visit on Thursday. It took Alice a little while to warm up to him, but by the afternoon she had a good nap with Uncle Matt.

This is the blanket Jameson's Aunt Adonna made for Alice. You can't tell, but she's busy staring at the light. She loves looking at lights!

Alice has found her hands and likes having them in her mouth, especially when it's close to eating time.

She's also developing a strong neck.

My parents came to visit on Saturday. Alice enjoyed a lot of grandma time. She loves napping on her tummy on whoever is holding her. It was a beautiful day, so Jameson and my dad spent most of the day working outside (raking leaves & hauling them away and taking the wagon wheels out of our front flower bed and filling it in with dirt). Alice even got to spend a little time outside.
