Week #2 at home

Here's a few more pictures of Alice from this week.

Alice loves time w/ Daddy when he gets home from work. She spends most of the evening in his arms (awake or asleep).

She now enjoys having her legs and arms extended.

Getting ready for bath time. Once we undress her she gets cold and her legs and arms jet straight out. She's enjoys her bath once she gets in the warm water (as long as we keep pouring warm water over her.)

Visitors!

Since bringing Alice home, we've had lots of family and friends come to meet her! My mom and grandma came on Tuesday to visit. My Uncle Paul and Aunt Carol came on Friday on their way to Minneapolis. Jordan, Joy, Timothy, Arie, Lydia, and Grandma R. came for the day on Saturday. Loren came on Sunday afternoon. Here are pictures of Alice with some of her visitors.

ALICE JOY ROOSE in born at 2:13 AM!
She weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 20.75 in long.

My parent's and brother came up Thursday night and brought Jameson supper. They stayed at our house, awaiting a phone call announcing the birth of their first grandchild. We called them after Alice was born and I'd been stitched up and they came to the hospital soon thereafter.

In addition to our family, Andrew, Cindy, and Gayle from our church also came to meet our precious little girl. Their children were not able to come b/c the hosptial was not allowing anyone 15 years or younger visit due to a large H1N1 outbreak in the local schools.
